Weber Carburettor
Sunbeam: Alpine Series II, III, IV and V (1960-68)
32/36 DGV type. Contents inlet manifold, air filter, linkage. Variant with manual choke
This kit is designed to replace the single Zenith Stromberg carburettor.
The DGV is a dual-barrel downdraft progressive carburettor. When cruising, only the 32 mm bore is employed, giving good economy. Under load, the second, richer 36 mm bore opens up to supply additional power.
Please note that on MGB models a new exhaust manifold will also be required. We recommend our tubular minifold 17152 which is especially designed for LHD cars.
On MG Midget, Sunbeam and Triumph models the original exhaust manifold can be retained.
